ROSE M. HANSON

Rose Mae Hanson, 79, of the 3100 block of Indian River Road died June 18, 1997.

A retired seamstress for Norfolk Tent and Awning, she was a Newton, N.C., native and the widow of Victor F. Hanson. She was a member of New Life Pentecostal Holiness Church and a deaconess of the church board, the ladies prayer group and the Women's Ministries.

Survivors include her sister, Margaret Kuhl of Chesapeake; brother, R.D. Ingle of Newton, N.C.; 16 nieces and nephews.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in New Life Pentecostal Holiness Church by the Rev. Daniel J. Campbell. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. today. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
