POLICE SEEK PUBLIC'S HELP IN FINDING WOMAN

Police are asking for help in locating a woman who has been missing since Wednesday night.

Luz Chango left her daughter's house in the 1900 block of English Ave. in Chesapeake about 6 p.m., according to Dave Hughes, a spokesman for Chesapeake police.

The 46-year-old woman is about 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs about 140 pounds. She is Hispanic, with black hair and brown eyes, and was last seen wearing a red blouse and red shorts. She has tattoos on both hands in the names of ``Pito'' and ``Chula.'' Her two front teeth are missing.

Chango's daughter said her mother has a mental disability and requires medication. The mother, who is visiting from Pennsylvania and is not familiar with the area, left on foot in an unknown direction.

Anyone with information should call Chesapeake police at 382-6161. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
