MADELEINE C. DARLING

Madeleine (Seaver) Darling, 89, of the 100 block of Independence Blvd., died June 18, 1997, at Bayside Health Care Center.

She was the wife of the late William F. Darling. Born in East Bridgewater, Mass., a daughter of the late Charles Leonard Seaver and the late Carrie (Still) Seaver, she spent her youth in East Bridgewater, moved to Somerset, Mass., where she resided for over 30 years, moving to Virginia Beach two years ago. Mrs. Darling was employed as a hostess by the former Toll House Restaurant in Whitman, Mass., for 12 years. She was a graduate of East Bridgewater High School. She attended Congregational Christian Church, Somerset, Mass.

Survivors include her daughter, Susan Kell of Virginia Beach; a sister, Evelyn L. Seaver of Boston, Mass.; and two grandchildren, Richard Scott Kell and Tracy Lynn Kell.

A service of Thanksgiving and tribute will be held Wednesday, June 25, 1997, at 11 a.m. in the ``Cherry Place'' Home of Waring-Ashton & Couglin-Sullivan-Driscoll, Fall River, Mass. Memorial contributions may be made to Charlton Memorial Hospital Cardiac Rehabilitation Equipment Fund, 363 Highland Ave., Fall River, Mass. 02720. Burial will be private. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
