Steven Ashley Trench, 27, beloved son of Diane and Lewis Trench, died at dawn, June 21, 1997, after a long struggle with AIDS. He was born in Norfolk on April 12, 1970.
He leaves his sister, Carrie and her children, David and Amber, Carrie's husband, Joe Roark, and also his sister Michelle Harris, her partner, Keith Stanton, and Michelle's children, Jason, Andrew, Ryan and Joshua, and aunts, uncles and cousins residing in England and Joe Riss, a very dear friend and constant supporter under the P.A.F. buddy system.
Steven volunteered his services to local high schools, talking to students in the education of AIDS awareness in hopes of saving at least some students and their families from the devastation of AIDS. He was our ray of sunshine and an enormous inspiration to many. He should also be remembered for his escapades as ``Pinky Lee,'' the performer.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday at 3 p.m. at St. Jerome's Catholic Church, Denbigh. A reception in the Parish hall will follow the service. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
