Ernest Lynwood Baker III, 51, known as ``Little Ernest,'' of the 1400 block of Conoga St., died June 20, 1997.
He was a former member of Grace Episcopal Church and participated in Men of Achievement and Character (M.O.A.C.). He was a member of the Secret Service, serving under President Reagan and President Bush. He was also an undercover narcotics agent for the Metropolitan Police in Washington, D.C.
Survivors include his wife, Jeanette Baker of Glen Burnie, Md.; stepdaughter, Leeandra P. Stevenson; son, Ernest Lynwood Baker IV of Peoria, Ill.; two stepsons, Micheal and Ray Ames of Maryland; mother, Eleanor O. Baker of Norfolk; father, Ernest L. Baker of Norfolk; twin brother, William H. Baker III of Georgia; grandmother, Lora Griffin Baker of Norfolk; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in First Baptist Church, Campostella, by the Rev. Harold Cason. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake, is handling arrangements. ILLUSTRATION: Photo KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
