CRIME REPORT- CHESAPEAKE

Lists of property crimes and robberies in the city are provided to The Clipper by Chesapeake Police. They include the address at which the crime occurred, the missing items and the approximate date. For robberies, a description of suspects also is provided.

BUTTS ROAD BOROUGH

(The rural southeast section)

Petty larceny, 400 block of S. Battlefield Blvd. Missing: Florida license plates No. RGN-95F. June 6.

Petty larceny, 2600 block of W. St. Brides Road. Missing: Chesapeake's issued trash can. June 6-7.

Petty larceny, 2100 block of Carolina Road. Missing: M-GLO electric air compressor from rear of pickup. June 4-5.

Grand larceny, 600 block of Ivanhoe Court. Missing: 1994 Volvo, four-door, black, Virginia license plates No. ZKM-2121. June 6.

DEEP CREEK BOROUGH

(Including the Great Dismal Swamp)

Strong-armed robbery, 1000 block of N. George Washington Highway, 7-Eleven Store parking lot. The victims purchased a money order and stamps from the store. The suspect was in line behind them. The victims walked out. Suspect walked out behind them. Suspect grabbed the bag containing the money order and assaulted both victims. Suspect then fled in a truck. Description of suspect: white male, 6-foot, 150 pounds, wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans. Suspect had a tattoo of a skeleton and a dragon on his right arem. His left arm had a tattoo of a skeleton and a person's name. June 8.

Strong-armed robbery, 2500 block of Gilmerton Road, Crescent Place Apartments. The victim was standing by two bicycles in the apartment complex while waiting for a friend. The suspects approached the victim, assaulted him and took the bicycles. The victim ran. Description of suspect 1: black male, 5-foot-7 tall, 160 pounds, has a V-shaped scar on forehead and a tattoo of a dagger on his forearm, wearing a green shirt and dark pants. Suspect 2: black male, 5-foot-9, 140 pounds, wearing a white shirt and dark pants. June 9.

Residential burglary, 3300 block of S. Military Highway. Missing: three Weedeaters, two lawn mowers and a gas-powered blower. June 6.

Grand larceny, 1300 block of N. George Washington Highway. Missing: a Datsun 210, blue car. Year and license unknown. June 6.

Petty larceny, 800 block of Canal Drive, 7-Eleven parking lot. Missing: brown leather purse. June 8.

Petty larceny, 1400 block of Mount Pleasant Road. Missing: pocketbook. June 9.

Residential burglary, 800 N. George Washington Highway. Missing: ratchet block and fishing pole. May 31-June 10.

PLEASANT GROVE BOROUGH

(Including Great Bridge)

Grand larceny, 300 block of Albemarle Drive. Missing: 1988 GMC, C2500, Red and white truck, Virginia license plates No. AAW-6816. June 6.

Grand larceny, 900 block of New Mill Road. Missing: compact disc player and 20 compact discs. June 5-6.

Residential burglary, 100 block of Hall Drive. Missing: currency. June 7.

Petty larceny, 1428 Cedar Road, Chesapeake campus of Tidewater Community College. Missing: wallet. June 6.

SOUTH NORFOLK BOROUGH

Grand larceny, 600 blodk of Lafayette Ave. Missing: 1991 Plymouth Voyager, gray, Virginia license plates No. Z934-784. June 5.

Grand larceny, 1100 block of Holly Ave. Missing: compact disc player and 96 compact discs. June 5-6.

Grand larceny, 1900 block of Diamond Hill Road. Missing: cut-off saw. June 6.

Grand larceny, 2400 block of Portal Road. Missing: stereo, 12 compact discs and bass tube. June 4-6.

Commercial burglary, 900 block of B St., Pagexpress. Missing: PrimeCo. cellular phone, five pager chains, five pager cases, six bungee cords, 13 pagers and currency. June 9-10.

WASHINGTON BOROUGH

(Including Indian River and Greenbrier)

Armed robbery, 4325 Indian River Road, Be-Lo. A clerk was forced at gunpoint to open safe in store office. Suspect removed cash from register and deposit bag in safe. Description of suspect: black male, 20-25 years old, 5-foot-9, 200 pounds, wearing a blue baseball cap, brown boots, baggy blue jeans and a maroon pull-over. Suspect left the store and fled the area with a second suspect in an older model Chevy Camaro 2-door, black. The car had a loud muffler and faded black paint. June 7.

Residential burglary, 600 block of Pile St. Missing: air compressor, torch set, Honda small lawn engines, two impact wrenches and eight 8-feet-by-6-feet wood fence sections. June 6.

Residential burglary, 600 block of Broadwindsor Crescent. Missing: revolver, necklace and dog. June 6.

Residential burglary, 200 block of Marsh Island Drive. Missing: bicycle. June 5.

Commercial burglary, 1050 S. Military Highway, Miller Mark. Missing: three 12-packs of beer. June 7.

Commercial burglary, 505 Kempsville Road, Linda's Florist. Missing: $25 in cash. June 6-7.

Grand larceny, 900 block Helmsdale Court. Missing: bicyle. June 1.

Grand larceny, 3500 block of Executive Center. Missing: 1988 Oldsmoble Cutlass, gray, Virginia license plates No. CPLUS 1. June 6.

Grand larceny, 1502 Sam's Circle, Sam's Club. Missing: unsecured generator from open bed of pickup truck. June 7.

Grand larceny, 2800 block of Mark St. Missing: two speakers, Virginia operator's license No. 225411762, credit card, two movie-club cards, wallet and $560 in cash. June 7.

Petty larceny, 11 Colonial Way. Missing: hubcap. June 5-6.

Petty larceny, 400 block of Cobblewood Bend. Missing: bicycle. June 6.

Residential burglary, 1300 block of MacDonald Road. Missing: Quaser videocassette recorder. June 8.

Residential burglary, 900 block of Mains Creek Road. Missing: computer, monitor, keyboard and mouse. June 5-9.

Armed robbery, 1200 block of Great Bridge Blvd., Quick-Service. Victims were working in the store when suspects entered the store wearing ski masks and brandishing firearms. One suspect walked behnd the counter and demanded money out of the cash drawer. The other suspect went to the rear office and demanded that the safe be opened. Both suspects fled out the front door. Description of the suspect 1: black male, 22 years old, 5-foot-10, 165 pounds, wearing blue jeans. Suspect 2: black male, 22 years old, weigh 165 pounds and wearing black pants. June 10.

Residential burglary, 2700 block of Ike St. Missing: Black & Decker 6'' grinder. June 9-10.

WESTERN BRANCH BOROUGH

(Suburban area west of Portsmouth)

Petty larceny, 3800 block of White Chapel Arch. Missing: CB radio, Black & Decker drill and Craftsman toolbox containing assorted tools. June 9-10.

Petty larceny, 2100 blodk of Christopher Drive. Missing: Ford rear lens. June 8.

Petty larceny, 4200 block of Portsmouth Blvd.. Missing: two toolboxes containing assorted tools from bed of pickup. June 10.
