Willie Lee Heath Jr., 58, died June 17, 1997.
He entered his parents' household on Aug. 3, 1938. He was the oldest of five children, born to the late Willie Lee Heath Sr. and Lizzie Wilkins-Heath. Born in Edgecombe County, N.C., Willie's family relocated to Norfolk when he was a young boy. He was educated in the Norfolk Public School System.
``Billy Boy,'' as he was so affectionately called, was a professional in his own right. He was an avid business man thus striving to own a dry cleaning business.
Willie was a respected business man for over 35 years in the dry cleaning industry. He was the former owner of Heath New Look Cleaners of Norfolk and his latest business was Champs Cleaners of Virginia Beach.
He leaves to cherish his memory his seven children, Adam Blair Heath of the home, Debbie H. Williams of Virginia Beach, Mario Wells of Norfolk, Donyl Heath of Portsmouth, Lovette Heath of Chesapeake, Yvette Heath of Norfolk, and Tremont Heath of Chesapeake; a sister, Doris Drummond of Chesapeake; a brother, Larry Heath of Virginia Beach; eight grandchildren; and a host of cousins, relatives and friends.
