LOUISE F. MAXWELL

Louise Ferebee Maxwell, 89, of the 1100 block of Wilbur Ave., died June 27, 1997.

Born in Norfolk County, she was a retired clerk for Richards Machine Works and a member of South Norfolk Congregational Christian Church, Chesapeake; Dorcas Bible Class; and the Gertrude Bunch Circle. She was the widow of Herbert Spencer Maxwell Sr.

Survivors include a son and his wife, Herbert and Kate Maxwell of Chesapeake; two granddaughters, Amanda Russell of Norfolk, and Amy Schwartz of Chesapeake; four great-grandchildren, Brent Russell and Casey Russell of Norfolk, and Johnathan Schwartz and Rachel Schwartz of Chesapeake.

A graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday in Riverside Memorial Park, Norfolk, by the Rev. Amos Eby. The family will receive friends at the residence. Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
