Clarence Thurston Kidd, 80, of the 100 block of W. Lorego Ave., died June 24, 1997.
Born in Fluvanna County, Va., he was a master carpenter and retired construction representative from ROICC Office, U.S. Amphibious Base, Little Creek. He was a member of Ocean View Baptist Church and a dedicated blood donor. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Red Cross or your favorite charity.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley O. Kidd; son and daughter-in-law, Paul T. and Joanna B. Kidd of Chesapeake; daughter and son-in-law, Carol K. and James E. Toombs of Atlanta; grandson, Paul Christopher Kidd; granddaughter, Carol Anne Kidd; and sisters, Bernice Brown, Vera Wall, Clara McKinney and Jane Duncan.
