Ervin Melvin Holley, of the 5900 block of Northampton Blvd., died June 28, 1997, in a local hospital.
A native of Virginia, he was a postal carrier with the U.S. Post Office for 33 years before retiring 16 years ago.
Survivors include a daughter, Pamela Holley of Memphis, Tenn.; a sister, Dorothy Boyd, and brother-in-law, James Boyd Sr. of Virginia Beach; two brothers, Edward E. Holley of Norfolk and Leon Holley of Elizabeth City, N.C.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Hale Funeral Home Chapel by Fr. Harold J. Cobb Jr. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Relatives and friends will assemble at the chapel for the service. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
