Jack D. Williams, 88, of the 900 block of Marietta Ave., died June 27, 2997.
Survivors include his wife, Mozelle Williams; two daughters, Ernestine Whitaker of North Carolina, Bernice Washington of Alexandria, Va., foster daughter, Margaret Higgs of Chesapeake; a sister, Margie Weaver of New York City; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; two sons-in-law and a host of relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in St. Thomas AMEZ Church, Norfolk, by Dr. G.L. Scott. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
