FRAGER D. WYATT

Frager Doswell Wyatt of the 2300 block of Lloyd Drive died June 29, 1997, in Chesapeake General Hospital.

A native of Beaver Dam, Va., he was a retired U.S. Navy petty officer first class and a former civil service employee. He was a member of Mount Olivet Baptist Church and Brunswick County Branch, NAACP, Fleet Reserve NCOA.

Survivors include his wife, Essie Mae Maclin-Wyatt; two daughters, Ardenia Lewis of Dale City, Va., and Arthelia Wyatt of Fort Washington, Md.; mother, Clara Mallory Wyatt of Montpelier, Va.; seven sisters, Pearl Bush of Mechanicsville, Va., Loretta Ellis of Louisa, Va., Eunice Jones of Richmond, Carolyn Bush of Glen Allen, Va., Alice White of Mechanicsville, Addie Jones of Richmond and Mary Byers of Charlottesville, Va.; two brothers, Gregory Wyatt of Richmond and Keith Wyatt of Montpelier; grandson, Josiah Doswell Lewis of Dale City; son-in-law, Willie Lewis of Dale City; three goddaughters; a godson; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in Mount Olivet Baptist Church, Montpelier, by the Rev. Evan C. White. Burial will be in the church cemetery with military honors. The remains will be ready for viewing at 3 p.m. today. The family will leave from the residence at 9:30 a.m. for the procession. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Josiah Doswell Lewis Educational Fund, Central Fidelity Bank. Carlos A. Howard Funeral Home, Norfolk, is handling arrangements.
