Marie Louise Midgette Mayo, 74, died Friday, June 27, 1997, in South Georgia Medical Center.
She was born in Norfolk, the daughter of Claude B. Midgette and Martha Moore and was a retired registered nurse and graduate of Maury High School, Norfolk. She was a member of Hope Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and J.B. Brown of Nashville; son, Claude W. Mayo of Jacksonville Beach, Fla.; three grandsons; a granddaughter; five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Norman Mayo.
A funeral was June 29, 1997, in Hope Baptist Church, Nashville, by the Rev. Dean Spivey. Burial was in Nashville Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the Hope Baptist Church, 1011 S. Dogwood Drive, Nashville, Ga. 31639. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
