Jack D. Williams, 89, of the 900 block of Marietta Ave., died June 27, 1997.
Survivors include his wife, Mozelle Williams; two daughters, Ernestine Whitaker of Raleigh, N.C., Bernice Washington of Alexandria, Va.; and a foster daughter, Margaret M. Higgs of Chesapeake; sister, Margie Weaver of Amityville, Long Island, N.Y.; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; two sons-in-law and a host of relatives and friends.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in St. Thomas AME Zion Church, Norfolk, by Dr. G.L. Scott. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake, is in charge. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
