Four people were rescued by the Coast Guard Tuesday after a massive wave overturned their boat in Hatteras Inlet.
A Coast Guard C-130 from the Air Station Elizabeth City heard a mayday call from another boat in the area and spotted the overturned 14-foot boat.
All four members of the crew were hanging to the hull of the boat. The Coast Guard towed in the boat after saving the crew.
The names of the crew members were not released.
The boat's owner-operator is from Vale, the Coast Guard said.
No other information was immediately available. KEYWORDS: RESCUE
