DOROTHY J. CARROLL

Dorothy J. Carroll, 84, died July 1, 1997, in Harbour Point Medical Center.

Mrs. Carroll was a native of Norfolk. She was the widow of Torrence J. Carroll. She was a member of Park Place United Methodist Church in Norfolk.

Mrs. Carroll was a former member of the Lakewood Garden Club; Norfolk Yacht and Country Club; the Board of St. Mary's Infant Home; The Lakewood King's Daughters Circle; and the Board of Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters. She also volunteered for many years at the Children's Hospital Gift Shop.

Survivors include her daughter, Linda Carroll Coupland; her grandchildren, Carroll Lee Kennedy and Michael Waff Coupland; and a great-granddaughter, Lane Elizabeth Kennedy.

A graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. today at Forest Lawn Cemetery by Dr. Charles H. Smith and Francis E. Collins.
