She was a beautiful lady who endeared herself to many friends and relatives by crocheting 25 to 30 baby blankets for newborn babies. She also made the best coffee cake you ever tasted.

She is survived by her ``loving and devoted'' husband of 46 years, George H. Hoover Jr.; two nieces, Ann Evans and Jane Downs and her husband, Mark; two nephews, Gordon Simpson and his wife, Nancy, and Phillip Simpson and his wife, Becky. She is also survived by many great-nieces and -nephews.

Services were conducted Thursday, June 19, in Princess Anne Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel by the Rev. Ernest Trueblood. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
