Milton Richard Romero, 32, of the 3700 block of Singingwood Trail died July 4, 1997, in Virginia Beach General Hospital.
A handyman, he was a native of New York City and a Catholic.
Survivors include his fiancee, Dezaree Alvarado of Virginia Beach; son, Nicholas Romero of Virginia Beach; parents, Maria Estrada of Kissimmee, Fla., and Milton Romero of New York City; four sisters, Julmari Diaz, Leticia Diaz and Coralis Diaz, all of Kissimmee, and Melanie Romero of New York City; and maternal grandfather, Manuel Estrada of Puerto Rico.
A funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Ascension Catholic Church by Father Philip Ghys. Burial will be in Colonial Grove Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, today from 2 to 10 p.m. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
