William McIntyre Boone, 50, died July 4, 1997, in New Orleans.

A native of Norfolk, Bill was part owner and executive vice president of William C. Overman Associates, P.C., and a member of Holy Trinity Parish.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Marie Louise Boone; his son, David Richard Boone of New York City; his daughter, Julie Ann Boone of New Orleans; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Cyril Boone of Portsmouth; his maternal grandfather, Hillary Eugene Young of Louisville; his two brothers, Joseph Anthony Boone of Norfolk, his wife, Karen, and daughters, Amanda and Sarah, and Thomas Eugene Boone of Portsmouth, his wife, Shelba, and sons, Michael and Steven.

A Liturgy of the Resurrection will be celebrated today at 7:30 p.m. in Holy Trinity Church, Norfolk, with a viewing beginning at 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Bill's name to Holy Trinity Church, Norfolk.
