Lolita B. Taguiam, 62, of the 5000 block of Cabin John Drive, died July 8, 1997, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
An employee of the personalization department at Lillian Vernon, she was a native of Tuguegarao, Cagayan, Philippines, and was the widow of Gregorio Taguiam. She was a member of St. Mark's Church, Virginia Beach.
Survivors include her two daughters, Anilou Castro and husband, Arturo Castro, of Virginia Beach and Leah Taguiam of Saudi Arabia; two sons, Greg Lysias Taguiam and his wife, Donna Taguiam, and Eric Taguiam and his wife, Jona Lyn Taguiam, both of Iguig, Cagayan, Philippines; sister, Juana Mallo of Iguig, Cagayan; three brothers, Antonio Banatao, Francisco Banatao and Generoso Banatao, all of Philippines; four grandchildren, Arthur Castro, Amelfa Castro, both of Virginia Beach, Greg Stephen Taguiam and Erica Joy Taguiam, both of Philippines; and several other loving family friends.
A funeral will be at 7 p.m. Saturday in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, by Father Leo Manalo. The body will be sent to the Philippines from the funeral home for burial. Friends may join the family Saturday at the funeral home from 6 to 9 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
