Pauline Holmes Jernigan, 81, of the 1600 block of Eider Court died July 10, 1997, in her residence. Ms. Jernigan belonged to the Daughters of America and was also a member of the Norview Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Horace F. Jernigan.
She is survived by her son, Billy Beale Jr. and his wife, Beverly, of Chesapeake; and her granddaughter, Nicole.
A graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. today in Rosewood Memorial Park. Kellum Funeral Home, Rosewood Chapel, is in charge. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
