Floy Glenn Boyce, 64, of Route 1 died Friday, July 11, 1997, in Pitt Memorial Hospital, Greenville.
Mr. Boyce was born in Gates County. The son of Mrs. Donnie B. Baines of Edenton and the late Luther M. Boyce, he was retired from Estes Truck Lines and was a member of Warwick Baptist Church.
Surviving, other than his mother, is his wife, Hilda Johnson Boyce; three daughters, Donna McKeithan of Bethel, N.C.; Glynda Arnold of Corapeake; and Sharon Sandford of Elizabeth City; a sister, Sarah Lee Cohn of Norfolk; two brothers, Ronald L. Boyce of Belvidere and Elton K. Boyce of Edenton; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday in Warwick Baptist Church by the Rev. Tom Hupp. Burial will follow in the family cemetery, with Miller Funeral Home, Gatesville, in charge. Friends may join the family Saturday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the funeral home and all other times at the residence.
