FAMILY PRACTICE PHYSICIANS RELOCATE OFFICE: Doctors Alvin Ciccone, Richard Sokol and Gary Snider have moved their practices to new locations on Colley Avenue next to their previous office. The newly renovated offices, located in a building formerly occupied by several restaurants at the foot of the Larchmont Bridge on the Lafayette River, will be known as the Westside Medical Associates. The association is a member of Sentara Medical Group, a primary care medical group and an arm of the health management organization Sentara Health System.

TRISH BROWN PROMOTED WITH EASTERN DATA: Trish Brown was appointed director of the government sales division with Eastern Data Inc. Brown has been with Eastern for the past five years, most recently as a senior sales executive.
PIECE GOODS TO CLOSE TWO MORE STORES: The Piece Goods Shops is scheduled to close its Hilltop East and Lynnhaven Crossing stores, a local store manager said. The Winston-Salem, N.C.-based retailer will close its Virginia stores over the next two months, said Gregory F. Rayburn, the chain's chairman. Six stores are presently operating in the Hampton Roads area.

PITTSTON DECLARES DIVIDENDS: The Pittston Co. declared regular quarterly dividends of 2.5 cents per share on Pittston Brink's Group Common Stock, 6 cents per share on Pittston Burlington Group Common Stock, and 16.25 cents per share on Pittston Minerals Group Common Stock, all payable on Sept. 2, 1997, to shareholders of record on Aug. 15, 1997. The Richmond-based company also declared a cash dividend of $7.8125 per share on its $31.25 Series C Cumulative Convertible Preferred stock, payable on Sept. 2, 1997, to shareholders of record on Aug. 15, 1997.

CREDIT UNION APPOINTS MARKETING SPECIALIST: Jessica C. Spangler was appointed a marketing specialist with the Virginia Educators' Credit Union. The institution serves educators and students in the city of Newport News and counties of York, Gloucester, Williamsburg, James City, Mathews and Isle of Wight. Spangler was a marketing coordinator at Newport News Shipbuilding Employees' Credit Union.
