Thomas Clark Stacy, 52, died July 11, 1997, at Chesapeake General Hospital.
Mr. Stacy was born June 7, 1945, in Panter, W. Va., son of the late Holbert and Attroe Lambert Stacy. He was the owner of T&R Clearing and a sponsor of a local softball team. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Paul Stacy, and sister, Nancy A. Bailey.
He is survived by his daughter, Karen S. White of Cleveland, Tenn.; son, Michael D. Stacy of Chesapeake; his fiancee, Christine Rochevot of Chesapeake; a step-daughter, Felicia Lyons of Virginia Beach; and a step-son, Richard L. Lyons III of Chesapeake; four sisters, Phyllis Mullins of Paynesville, W. Va., Peggy Deryke of Wayne, Mich., Pam Knowles of Nashville, Tenn., and Theresa Lester of Ikesfork, W.Va.; two brothers, Kenneth I. Stacy of Panter, W. Va., and Eddie Stacy of North Carolina.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, Virginia Beach. A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Colonial Grove Memorial Park by pastor Merlin Miller.
