NELLIE M. HOLMES

Nellie Mae Holmes, 90, of the 500 block of Nicholson St. died of natural casues July 9, 1997, in Norfolk Community Hospital.

A native of North Carolina, she was the widow of Johnnie Holmes and a member Bethlehem Baptist Church, Norfolk. She is survived by a nephew, George Maben Jr.; nieces, Beatrice Spriull and Tiffany Maben; and a host of other special nieces and nephews.

A funeral will be conducted noon Monday in Bethlehem Baptist Church. Burial will be in Carver Memorial Park Cemetery, Suffolk. Family and friends will assemble at Hale Funeral Home and proceed on to the church. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
