BELVA REDMON

On July 13, 1997, Belva Jean Redmon was taken from us by cancer.

She is well loved by her survivors: her husband, Glenn Redmon Sr.; her four children, Deborah J. Blackburn, Glenn Redmon Jr., Rebecca C. Tatem and Jeffrey S. Redmon; her four grandchildren, Jammie M. Blackburn, Richard Allen Tomlin II, Samantha R. Tatem and Brandon S. Tatem; her mother, Eva Estelle Davis; her sisters, Joyce L. Cribb, Donna Sturgis and Theresa Johnson; and her brothers, Michael Murphy, Benny Davis and Tony Davis. Her father was the late Edward J. Murphy.

Belva Redmon was of the Baptist faith. She was a retired special needs school bus driver for the city of Virginia Beach. She was a lifetime member of the Virginia Beach City Public Schools Bus Driver Association. She was also a member of Women of the Moose, Chapter No. 0684, Aragona Village.

Family and friends can attend her memorial service at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Kellum Funeral Home, Pleasant Hall Chapel. Please send any donations to the American Cancer Society, or flowers may be sent to the funeral home. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
