Lera Perdue Caleo, 87, died Wednesday, July 16, 1997, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Caleo had been a resident of Bagdad for the past five years coming from Virginia. She was born Oct. 14, 1909, in Martinsville, Va. She was Baptist by faith and a dedicated Sunday School teacher. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be missed dearly.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony V. Caleo; sons, Tazewell Caleo, Sherman Eames; and a daughter, Earline Malusa.
Survivors include a son, Michael Caleo of Norfolk; a daughter, Nancy Scott of Odessa, Texas; twin sister and best friend, Vera Forbes of Bagdad; and a sister, Blanch Smith of Pennsylvania.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. today in Pensacola Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Pensacola. Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home is handling arrangements. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
