Margaret C. ``Rita'' Christopher, 78, died July 18, 1997.

A native of Norfolk, she was the widow of James Christopher and a member of Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral. She was the daughter of the late Stamatiki and Angelos Karnezis.

Survivors include two sons, Angelus Demetri Christopher and James Michael Christopher, both of Fairfax, Va.; a sister, Roxanne Parker Valdez of Virginia Beach; two brothers, R. Dean Carnegie of Cocoa Beach, Fla., Jame Karnezis of Sacramento, Calif.; six grandchildren, Cary James Christopher and Thomas Van Christopher, both of San Francisco, Gina Marie Christopher of Alexandria, Va., Alisha Michelle Christopher and Jacqueline Marie Christopher, Felicia Elizabeth Patch, all of Fairfax; two daughters-in-law, Linda Susan Christopher, Mary Marci Christopher, both of Fairfax.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral by Fr. Constantine Rogakos. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. A Trisagion service will be held at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, at 7 p.m. today. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
