Charles Everett Taylor, 81, of Route 1, died July 18, 1997, in Roanoke Chowan Hospital.
A native of Onslow County, he was a barber for the last 70 years. He was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church, Ahoskie.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly Ammons Taylor; four daughters, Tonya Cook of North Little Rock, Ark., Bitsy Kerr of Eggleston, Va., Cathy Miller of Cocoa Beach, Fla., and Joanne Snook of Manlius, N.Y.; two sons, Charles ``Pete'' Taylor of Aulander and Bernie Taylor of Newport, Va.; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Charles Catholic Church. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. tonight at St. Charles Catholic Church. Harrell Funeral Home, Gatesville, is handling arrangements. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
