Bess ``Sue'' Lawrence, of the 1200 block of Ocean View Ave. died Saturday, July 19, 1997, at DePaul Hospital.
She was an honorary member of the AAA and an exemplary woman. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Addie Valley.
Mrs. Lawrence is survived by a sister, Lillian Hilliard of Perma, Idaho; several nieces and nephews; and a close friend, George Duke of Norfolk.
Friends are invited to attend a visitation from 7 to 9 p.m. today in Altmeyer Funeral Home, Virginia Beach. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Thomasville City Cemetery, Thomasville, N.C. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
