On May 8, just before 9 p.m., the Twin B Auto Store in the 3400 block of Chesapeake Blvd. was robbed by a gunman.
Two months later, on July 8 and again just before 9 p.m., the Twin B in the 1000 block of Bay View Blvd. was robbed.
Investigators believe the same man is responsible for both robberies.
The suspect is described as black, in his early 20s, between 5 feet 8 and 5 feet 11 and between 140 to 155 pounds.
He was armed with a silver-toned handgun and wore baggy blue jeans and a black shirt.

On July 6, about 10:30 a.m., a gunman robbed the McDonald's restaurant in the 2800 block of S. Lynnhaven Road.
The robber entered the store through a side door and forced employees to lie on the floor while he emptied the cash register and the safe. He fled toward the back of the building.
The suspect is described as black with a dark complexion and about 6 feet tall with a thin build. His head was shaven or his hair was close-cut, and he wore a mustache and a goatee.
He was wearing an orange baseball cap, a white T-shirt with red letters, dress blue jeans and brown hiking boots.
Chesapeake

On June 8, about 8:30 p.m., two girls were robbed outside a convenience store in the Deep Creek area.
The girls had bought a money order and were followed out of the store by the robber. He grabbed the money order and punched one of the girls in the stomach, struck the other with a stick and fled in a small white pickup.
The suspect is described as white, 6 feet tall and 170 pounds. He had long hair, a light beard and tattoos of skeletons and a dragon on his arms.
Portsmouth

On July 9, about 9:45 a.m., the Central Fidelity Bank branch in the 4200 block of Portsmouth Blvd. was robbed by two men.
They entered the bank, displaying weapons. One suspect jumped over the counter and took cash while the second guarded the lobby.
Once they had the money, they got into a gray, four-door vehicle driven by a third man.
The first suspect is described as 5 feet 10, 170 pounds and in his late 20s. He wore a dark hooded shirt and sunglasses.
The second suspect is described as 5 feet 11, 200 pounds and in his late 20s. He wore a khaki shirt with writing on the front and a striped hat over a dark ski mask.
