ELEANOR C. ORRELL

Eleanor Couture Orrell, 71, a native of Hudson Falls, N.Y., passed away July 16, 1997.

Mrs. Orrell was a school bus driver for the Portsmouth and Suffolk Public School Systems retiring after 25 years of service. She was a member of the Nansemond River Baptist Church and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post (NU)9382.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Robert G. Orrell; two sons, Robert A. Orrell and his wife, Shirley, and Darryl G. Orrell and his wife, Lynn; two grandsons, Bobby Orrell and Joshua Orrell; a great-grandson, Ryan Wallace; four sisters, Gay Hanshaw, Helen Coffee, Jane Jackson and Mary Havens; and other loving relatives.

Her presence will be greatly missed by family and friends, but her spirit and love will fill our hearts forever.

A memorial service will be held at Nansemond River Baptist Church, 2896 Bridge Road, Suffolk, on Saturday, July 26, at 10 a.m. The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Bennetts Creek Rescue Squad, P.O.
