Mrs. Glenna R. Kuster, 78, died at 12:40 p.m. Monday, July 21, 1997, in OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington, Ill.
Survivors include a son, J. David Kuster (Karen) of Normal; two daughters, Julienne K. Psimas (George N.) of Virginia Beach and Susan L. Barton (William J.) of Savannah, Ga.; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Kuster was born June 21, 1919, in Pascagoula, Miss., the daughter of John Harvey Rouse and Maude Rouse Griffith. She married Clarence J. Kuster June 22, 1938, at Princeton, Ill., and he died Nov. 21, 1996. A brother, a sister and a grandson also preceded her in death.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Normal, a member of the church's Mercy Circle and a member of the Normal Literacy Center.
Mrs. Kuster received her teaching certificate from Western Illinois University and taught at Whethersfield Elementary School, Kiwanee, and later at Colene Hoose and Carlock elementary schools.
A graveside funeral will be held at 2 p.m. today in East Lawn Cemetery with the Rev. Dr. James Bortell officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Memorial Gardens, Bloomington, Ill. There will be no visitation. Stubblefield-Froelich Memorial Home is in charge. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 211 N.
