READY FOR A PEACH OF A FESTIVAL

Michael Martin, 13, harvests peaches at Martin's Peach Farm on

Knotts Island. The peaches are destined for market and this

weekend's Knotts Island Peach Festival. The eighth annual festival

will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday at

the Knotts Island Ruritan Park. Peach treats of all types as well

as the Spectrum Puppets, crafts, rides, food and more will be

featured. Admission is free but parking is $3. To get there, follow

Route 615 (Princess Anne Road) south to Knotts Island. Follow the
