ANDREW F. DOLLARD

Andrew Fulton Dollard, 87, died Friday, July 25, 1997, at his residence.

Mr. Dollard, a native of Bay Ridge, N.Y., was a certified public accountant. He was a graduate of New York University School of Finance; past president of the Duck Woods Country Club; a member of Southern Shores Volunteer Fire Dept.; and a member of First Flight Retired Officers Association. He was a veteran, having served in during World War II with the U.S. Navy, where he was a commander in the Navy and was a civilian in the Department of Defense, the Navy Bureau of Supply and Accounting and received a letter of commendation from the Secretary of Defense. He was the son of the late Fredrick and Marie Moeller Dollard and the husband of Louisa F.C. Dollard of the home. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Libby D. Bruck.

Besides his wife, Mr. Dollard is survived by a sister, Lillian Carey of Mill Valley, Calif.; two brothers, Waldo T. Dollard of Highlands, N.J., and Barton Dollard of Madera Beach, Fla.; two grandchildren, Andrew and Amanda Bruck of Mendham, N.J.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 2, in St. Andrews by the Sea Episcopal Church by the Rev. Charles Gill. Burial of cremains will follow in the Southern Shores Cemetery. Friends are invited the join the family at the Duck Woods Country Club following the service. Memorial donations may be made to St. Andrews by the Sea Episcopal Church, P.O. 445, Nags Head, N.C. 27959, or the Outer Banks Community Foundation, P.O. Box 1100, Kill Devil Hills, N.C. 27948.
