MILFORD W. WHITE

Milford Woodrow White, 72, of the 500 block of Milford Lane died July 25, 1997, in Obici Hospital.

A native of Currituck County, N.C., he was a self-employed poultry farmer and the widower of Vivian Warren White. He was a member of Western Branch Baptist Church, Suffolk, and King's Fork Ruritan Club, Izaak Walton League of America, Nansemond-Suffolk Shooting Club, Poor Boy Hunt Club, Roger's Hunt Club and the National Rifle Association.

Survivors include a son, Ron Milford White of Suffolk; two brothers, Vernon Dow White and Orville Norman White of Suffolk; two grandchildren, Amber Dawn White and Karissa Blake White.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Western Branch Baptist Church, Suffolk, by the Rev. David M. Jendrey. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will greet friends in Hill Funeral Home from 4 to 5:30 p.m. today and at other times in the residence.
