Vashti E. Cartwright, 83, of the 2800 block of Keller Ave., died July 26, 1997, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
A funeral will be at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday in First Baptist Church, West Munden, Chesapeake. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. The family will be at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Steve E. Lassiter, 1537 Crystal Lake Drive, Portsmouth, and will assemble there for the funeral service. Corprew Funeral Home, Portsmouth, is in charge.
