LEMUEL E. MARSH

Lemuel Ellis Marsh, 64, died Sunday, July 27, 1997, in an Elizabeth City hospital. Mr. Marsh was born in Claxton, Ga., was a graduate of VMI and a member of Duck Woods Country Club. He was a veteran, having served in the U.S. Army. Mr. Marsh was the son of the late Bernard Chesley Starkey and the late Mary Beulah Lane Marsh Starkey.

Mr. Marsh is survived by Mary Lou Haraway of the home; daughter, Lynn Alys Esbach of Richmond; two sons, Bernard Chesley Marsh of Manassas, Va., and Clayton Dewitt of Fairfax; and three grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the residence in Baum Bay. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army. Twiford's Colony Chapel, Manteo, is in charge. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
