Emma J. Bagley, 95, of the 1000 block of County St. died July 27, 1997, in Portsmouth General Hospital.
A native of Bruce, Va., she was the widow of William Bagley. She was a former member of Celestial Baptist Church, Portsmouth.
Survivors include daughter, Olive E. Ramos of Brooklyn, N.Y.; stepson, Hubert Bagley of Maryland; stepdaughters, Viola Morris and Alberta Sheppard, both of Washington, D.C., and Naomi Gray of Islip, N.Y. and Marie Durant of New Jersey; nephew, James B. Howard; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Corprew Funeral Home, Portsmouth, by Elder Ronald Thompson. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Viewing at the funeral home will begin at noon Wednesday. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
