COOL DRINKS QUENCH YOUR SUMMER THIRST

ONE WAY to keep it cool is to make sure you drink plenty of water when the temperature is rising. If you would like a little change from water, you can pucker up for some tangy lemonade or try a refreshing fizzie. You'll have to plan ahead for a banana smoothie since the banana slices have to be frozen before you finish the recipe.

The Plan Ahead Banana Smoothie is an example of why it is so important to read a recipe completely before you begin.

The recipe will tell you what ingredients you need, the order for combining them and whether there are steps that will take extra time.

You know all of the cooking terms for these recipes, so there is no need for a cooktionary this week!
