Elizabeth M. Holbrook, 86, of the 200 block of Oaken Gate Turn, died July 30, 1997, in her home.
Mrs. Holbrook was a native of Seaford, Va. She was the widow of James Hoyt Holbrook. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Cumming, Ga., and a member of Eastern Star, Elizabeth Chapter 45 and Daughters of the Nile, Al-Kenna Temple 124.
Survivors include two sons, James A. Williams, Nelson C. Williams, both of Virginia Beach; a sister, Bernice Hayman of Norfolk; and three grandsons, John A. Williams Sr., James A. Williams, both of Virginia Beach, Jeffery A. Williams of Richmond, Va.; three great-grandsons, Christopher S. Williams, John A. Williams Jr., of Virginia Beach, Jacob A. Williams of Richmond; a great-granddaughter, Katherine Elizabeth Williams of Virginia Beach; and seveval nieces and nephews.
The Eastern Star will conduct a service at 7 p.m. Friday at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts. Laskin Road Chapel. The family will recieve friends following the service. Burial will be at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Cumming, Ga. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Oak Grove Baptist Church Youth Fund or to charity of choice. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
