Mercedes M. Joseph, 65, of the 5500 block of Connie Lane, died July 29, 1997.
Survivors include her husband, Lloyd B. Joseph; four daughters, Angela Wharton of Texas, Pamela Pinder of Virginia Beach, Regina Donelson of Panama and Tamara Tamez of Virginia Beach; son, Daniel Joseph of Panama; and five grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Gregory's Catholic Church, 5345 Virginia Beach Blvd., Virginia Beach. Interment will be in Rosewood Memorial Park. A wake service will be held today at P.G. Thomasson Funeral Services Inc. from 8 to 9 p.m. by Father Anselm Ober. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the American Cancer Society.
