ETHEL B. LEWIS

Ethel Bessie Lewis, 80, died Aug. 3, 1997, in Maryview Nursing Care Center.

She was a Norfolk native and the widow of Livius Lankford Lewis. She was a member of Pinecrest Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Patricia Ann Kelly of Portsmouth; three sisters, Lorraine Elliott, Thelma Chapman and Phyllis Mae Riddle, all of Portsmouth; three brothers, Phillip R. Lewis, Vernon Leroy Lewis and Warren H. Lewis, all of Portsmouth; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Loving Funeral Home, Churchland, by the Rev. Tom Potter and the Rev. Damon E. Wyatt. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the building fund of Pinecrest Baptist Church. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
