Margaret Williams Waterfield, 77, died Monday, Aug. 4, 1997, in Virginia Beach General Hospital.
Mrs. Waterfield was a native of Knotts Island, the daughter of Henry Williams and Lydia Capps Williams, and was a homemaker and a member of the Knotts Island United Methodist Church. Mrs. Waterfield was preceded in death by her husband, Walter M. Waterfield Sr.
Survivors include a son, Walter M. Waterfield Jr. of Covington, Va.; two daughters, Joan Long of Jesup, Ga., and Rita Curylo of Chesapeake. Mrs. Waterfield also is survived by seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted in Knotts Island United Methodist Church Thursday at 10 a.m. by the Rev. Frank Jennings. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
