Vera Marie Palmer, 77, passed away Aug. 2, at Day Point Medical Center.
She was the widow of Rear Adm. Fred Palmer and resided in the Brittany Estates area of Virginia Beach.
She is survived by two sons, Fred Palmer Jr. of Orange, Calif., and John Palmer of Virginia Beach; and her 5-year-old granddaughter, Kyrie Elise Palmer.
A service will be held on Friday, Aug. 8, at 10 a.m. at NAB Little Creek Base Chapel. There will not be a formal reception following the service. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
