LOTTIE G. MCCORMICK

Lottie G. McCormick, 93, passed away quietly at her home on the morning of Aug. 5, 1997, after a short illness.

Mrs. McCormick was a native of Dillon, S.C., where she graduated from Dillon County High School in 1921. She was the widow of William McCormick and a member of St. Thomas AME Zion Church and a former member of Ruth Scott Floral Club and Stewardess Board.

Survivors include two daughters, Dorothy M. Wright and Kathleen M. Clark of Norfolk; a son, William McCormick Jr. of Portsmouth; three brothers, Robert Gasque, James Gasque and Edward Gasque, all of Baltimore, Md.; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in St. Thomas AME Zion Church by the Rev. G.L. Scott. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. The family will be receiving friends and family at 623 Carolina Ave., Norfolk. Visitation will be Friday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. in Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake.
