ROBERT E. WHITE

Robert Edward White, 59, of the 7800 block of San Antonio Blvd. died Aug. 5, 1997.

A native of Portsmouth, he was the son of the late Howard A. White Sr. and Florence Pittman White and the widower of Juanita Fay White. He retired from Farm Fresh at Wards Corner and attended Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church, Norfolk.

Survivors include sisters-in-law, Nancy White, Starr Oliver and her husband, Michael, all of Chesapeake; two nieces, Whitney Oliver of Chesapeake, Lori Gulliver of Littleton, Colo.; four nephews, Aaron Oliver of Chesapeake, Richard White of Portsmouth, Martin White of Richmond, Donald White of Virginia Beach. He was also predeceased by a brother, Howard A. White Jr.

A graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday in Olive Branch Cemetery by Dr. R. Clint Hopkins. The family will receive friends at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. today and other times at 3410 Anita Circle, Chesapeake. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
