George Thomas Lindsey Jr., 39, of the 600 block of Ranchland Drive died Aug. 6, 1997, in Chesapeake.
A native of Norfolk, he was a glass fitter at the Ford plant and was very active in Portsmouth Moose Lodge No. 898.
Survivors include his wife, Tracy D. Lindsey; daughter, Sherry L. Lindsey of Moyock; son, Patrick D. Lindsey of Moyock; parents, Edith P. Lindsey and George Thomas Lindsey Sr., both of Virginia Beach; sister, Georganna L. Wright of Virginia Beach; two brothers, William L. Lindsey and Gene A. Lindsey, both of Virginia Beach; maternal grandfather, William Herbert Peary of Saugus, Mass.; 14 nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel, by the Rev. Joe Brewer. Burial will be in Charity Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and other times at the home of his parents. Immediately following the service, there will be a reception held at the Portsmouth Moose Lodge, 1400 N. George Washington Highway, Chesapeake. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
