RHONA S. WEINSTEIN

Rhona Straus Weinstein, 60, of 6800 Fordwick Drive, died Aug. 6, 1997, in her home.

Mrs. Weinstein was a native of Richmond and was a Realtor with Coldwell Banker Gifford Realty. She was a member of Congregation Beth El and its sisterhood in Norfolk. She was a member of Ort, Haddassah and the Tidewater Board of Realtors.

Mrs. Weinstein was a beautiful and loving wife to her husband, Dr. Jerome H. Weinstein, and caring mother and grandmother to her children and grandchildren, Robin W. Katz, and her husband, Michael, of Toledo, Ohio, Sandra L. Weinstein of Baltimore, Md., Kenneth J. Weinstein and his wife, Traey of Virginia Beach, Dr. Lee T. Weinstein, and his wife, Dena, of Virginia Beach; six grandchildren, Elliott, Jamie and Joey Katz, Derek, Mallory and Caylyn Weinstein and devoted daughter to her mother, Ida Mazer Straus of North Miama Beach, Fla. She was preceded in death by her father, Nathan Straus, and her sister, Carole S. Morrison.

A funeral service will be conducted at 12 noon at Congregation Beth El by Rabbi Arthur Ruberg. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will be at 6800 Forwick Drive in Norfolk. Memorial donations may be made to Congregation Beth El, 422 Shirley Ave., Norfolk 23517; National Kidney Foundation, 291 Independence Blvd., Suite 232, Virginia Beach 23462 or a charity of donor's choice.
