Ralph James ``Sunny'' Seelinger, 43, of the 5100 block of Kennebeck Avenue, died Aug. 8, 1997, in a local hospital.
Mr. Seelinger was a native of Norfolk. He was the son of the late Ralph and Beverly Seelinger. Mr. Seelinger was a Taxi Cab Driver with the Norfolk Checker Cab Co. He formerly was a Deputy Sheriff with the Norfolk Sheriff's Department. Mr. Seelinger was a member of Virginia Beach Ham Radio Club. He attended Holy Trinity Catholic School and a graduate of Norfolk Catholic High School, class of 1972.
Survivors include his wife, Viola Seelinger of Norfolk; a son, Clint Cormier of Norfolk; a sister, Teresa Kepplinger of Irene, S.D.; his aunt, Mrs. Montgomery Knight Jr. of Norfolk; and his uncles, Robert Lawson and Robert Paulson, both of Virginia Beach, and Richard Lawson of Wilmington, N.D.; his mother-in-law, Gertrude Castro of Norfolk; a brother-in-law, Vincent Giannetti of Norfolk.
A Graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m., Monday, Aug. 11, at St. Mary's Cemetery by the Rev. John Dorgan. The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 8 p.m at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk Chapel. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
